Arrive at Calais 11.00 am (local)
Arrive Nurburg village around 8pm
Accommodation is in the village of Nurburg (Germany)
For reference it’s opposite the Castle.
August 1st to August 4th; 4 nights
The Tour is around the local Eiffel Mountains, Luxembourg and the Mosel Valley area.
Each day’s tour is dependent on a selection of routes and weather conditions.
If anyone wishes to have a lap around the famous ‘Ring’ this can be accommodated and I would be only to happy to guide you around this amazing toll road (old race circuit)
It must be pointed out that the Tour will be take at a steady pace with many stops.

Over the previous years I’ve had some amazing trips to this region, around the Eiffel Mountains and along the Mosel valley.
We plan to travel out on the Thursday and back Tuesday via the Dover / Calais ferries.
Accommodation over this long weekend tour is in a local B&B within the Nurburg village. NO CAMPING
Plan in detail:
Thursday
Approx 9am Ferry Crossing via Dover/Calais, then travel to the famous ‘Petrol Head’ village of Nurburg (ref Nurburgring).
From Calais it is a 300 mile drive, the first 110 is on motorways then we head down the A roads through the Belgium Ardennes and then Eiffel mountains
Five nights (Thursday to Monday) we will stay at a local Guest house overlooking the Nurburg castle.
Each day we plan to ride locally at a very nice touring pace. This will involve taking in the surrounding Eiffel Mountains plus some viewing spots of the 'Ring' itself.
We also plan to visit the Mosel valley and to the castle town of Cochem. The Mosel valley has plenty to offer with both great rides and views.
This year we will also venture into the beautiful country of Luxembourg, only 50 miles away from the B&B.
Most evenings we be spent dining and drinking in the Nurburg village where there are many restaurants and bars.
Tuesday:
We will make our way back to Calais via as many 'A' roads as time can afford for the 5.20pm sailing.
